EMSL Analytical is currently seeking a Full Time Environmental Microbiologist/ Mycologist/ Microbiologist for its Manhattan NY lab location. EMSL is a growing environmental commercial lab that offers the chance to work for a stable company that promotes within.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for microbial and bioaerosol analysis of samples for fungi and bacteria. The successful candidate must be familiar with all daily activities in the laboratory, including analyzing samples, maintaining the QA/QC Program and Standard Operating Procedures.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE Bachelors in Science and/or Masters in Mycology/Microbiology with strong background in Mycology.
MUST Have Experience in Environmental testing of bioaerosols and microbial analysis.
Applicant must be able to enumerate, identify and confirm a wide variety of bacteria and fungi.
Minimum of 2 years experience in testing of bioaerosols and microbial analysis.
This position is full time.
Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Some weekends may be required to meet business demands.
